East African Deck - MINT Condition (1957) - 52 Gilt Cornered Photo Cards + 2 jokers, and title card as issued. One joker has the alternate blue background. Original sleeved, gold inlay, red velvet box in very good condition; sleeve has minor tape repair. Here's another great and rare deck for your collection. This one even makes an appearance in my book, Stacked Decks. All 4 Queens are African nudes from different tribes and a few other cards feature some mild nudity as well. It's a perfect example of how playing card publishers were able to sell decks while marketing sex, even if it's nudity the way National Geographic would've done it. There's one shot of a young Princess Margaret with Chuka dancers. Also, this deck contains a great image of President Teddy Roosevelt on the front of a locomotive in Kenya!!
